This RED Gelcoat repair kit is a first of its kind. What makes it special is the use of gelcoat for color shading rather than pigments.

The Rayplex RED Gelcoat Repair Kits is the third in line of our gel coat matching kits. Red being one of the more difficult colors to match as it can have one of four shades, yellow, blue, violet also can be made lighter or darker using white or black pigments.
The reason we used gelcoat instead of pigments is customers tend to over pigment the gelcoat and then it doesn’t cure properly
Minor Gel coat repairs are easy to do allowing you to achieve professional results the first time.
Included in the kit are:
- 250ml Pure Red Gelcoat
- 250ml Pure Yellow Gelcoat
- 125ml Pure Violet Gelcoat
- 1 bottle of Catalyst (hardener)
- 3 tubes of pigments (White, Black & Blue)
- Latex Gloves
- 2 Mixing sticks
- 2 Paper mixing cups
- 1 sheet Mylar
- Color Chart

Rayplex Acetone is available in 1L for those smaller jobs, less waste.Features include:
- It will dissolve and remove epoxy, polyester, and vinyl ester resin from tools, brushes, and surfaces and will effectively remove grease and wax including ink and contact cement coating.

It is a powerful solvent used in the composite industry as the standard for cleaning and degreasing. It is 100% virgin solvent or pure technical grade solvent. Acetone is highly flammable and will evaporate rapidly. It should be handled much like gasoline. When not in use, keep containers tightly sealed at all times to help reduce spills, evaporation and contamination.
