Kevlar® Felt is a simple way to protect your project. It can be used on both the bow and stern of your canoe, kayak or boat from shoreline impact and strikes from submerged rocks. The material's inherent strength comes from its ring-like molecular structure and the way the fibers are tightly knit together.
Tip: Recommended you install with epoxy resin (not included).

This stuff was perfect for protecting the bilges of my sailing dinghy as I haul her in and out of the water, usually on a rocky shoreline somewhere. Ordering from Rayplex was painless and delivery was almost instantaneous. The stuff is easy to glue on using epoxy and can be worked (with files, sandpaper and grinders) after it hardens, tho it is pretty tough stuff. It sure soaks up a lot of epoxy, so be warned!
