I was surprised at the size of the container (3.5 diameter by 7.5" high). I'm not sure if it was my mixing technique, but not all of the colloidal silica mixed smoothly with the resin. I got small white specs in the thickened mixture. I was able to successfully add colloidal silica to the resin to achieve the desired consistencies. I was adding approximately equal parts or more of colloidal silica by volume to the resin to get the consistencies I required.
This is dusty, and tends to stick a bit to the end of the plastic spoon I was using to measure it out.
