Coarse buffing compound is used to remove moderate to heavy oxidation, dullness, sanding marks, and small surface scratches from fiberglass or gelcoat surfaces.
Recommended speed: about 1,000–1,500 RPM.
Simple Customer Version
Coarse buffing compound is ideal for restoring dull, oxidized fiberglass and gelcoat. Wash the surface first, then apply a small amount of compound to a damp pad. Buff a small area at a time using a rotary buffer, keeping the pad moving and the compound slightly damp. Wipe clean with a soft cloth. For best results, follow with a fine compound or polish, then apply wax for protection.
